Depuis dix ans, la romancière Izzi Simmons passe tous ses Noëls à Silver Springs. Mais cette année, ses vacances à la montagne semblent compromises. Alors que la date de rendu de son manuscrit approche à grands pas, elle est confrontée au syndrome de la page blanche. Quand elle apprend que le propriétaire de son auberge préférée va prendre sa retraite, Izzi décide de partir y terminer son livre.
